- TLD (Top-Level Domain): The last part of a domain name, such as .com, .net, or .org.
- ccTLD (Country Code Top-Level Domain): A top-level domain specific to a country or geographic region, such as .uk for the United Kingdom or .jp for Japan.
- DNS Management: The process of linking your domain and web hosting, allowing people to find your website.
- Domain Locking: A security feature that prevents unauthorized transfers, updates, or deletions of a domain.
- Domain Forwarding: A service that redirects one domain to another.
- Auto-Renewal: A service that automatically renews your domain registration before it expires.
General Terms and Conditions
- Agreement Acceptance: By registering a domain name or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
- Domain Registration: You must provide accurate and complete information when registering a domain name. False information may result in the cancellation of your domain registration.
- Domain Renewals: It is your responsibility to ensure your domain name is renewed before it expires. We offer auto-renewal services to help you maintain your domain registration.
- Privacy Protection: We offer privacy protection services to safeguard your personal information in the WHOIS database. This service is optional and subject to additional fees.
- Transfer of Domain: You may transfer your domain to another registrar at any time, subject to our transfer policies and applicable fees.
- Acceptable Use: You agree not to use your domain for unlawful purposes, including but not limited to spamming, phishing, and distributing malware.
- Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your domain registration or access to our services if you violate these terms and conditions.
- Limitation of Liability: We are not liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the domain registration service.
- Amendments: We may update these terms and conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
- Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England.
Abuse
- Reporting Abuse: Users can report abuse by sending an email to enquiries@seecom.net. The email should include details such as the domain name and a description of the abuse.
- Types of Abuse: Common types of abuse include spam, phishing, malware distribution, copyright infringement, and defamation. Seecom will investigate such a report and take appropriate action.
- Investigation Process: Seecom’s abuse team will investigate the report, which may involve verifying the details provided and contacting the domain registrant for further information.
- Consequences: If the abuse is confirmed, we may take actions such as suspending the domain, removing content, or terminating the account.
- Privacy: Due to privacy reasons, Seecom may not be able to provide specific updates on the status of the abuse report to the complainant.
